Hi everyone, hope you are all having a good week. I'm a bit late with my
Less is More card this week. Mainly because I struggled with this one, it seems to be the one layer weeks that I find the most difficult. The theme this week was to use some script. Now I don't have many wordy stamps and I must be the only crafter that doesn't yet own any distress inks, so that ended that. What I do have is a wonderful CD from Pink Petticoat with some script on so I decided to use that...
My next question was how was I going to get my script onto a ONE LAYER card. A-ha, the thought came to me in the middle of the night... I would make a mask, so I did. I used a Craftwork Cards Build a Corsage plastic template, drew round it and cut it out, I then adhered it to the front of my card using Stick n Spray, I then stuck my card blank with mask to a piece of A4 card and ran it through my printer. I was so chuffed that it worked.
Here's a close up. I went round the edge of the petals with fine glitter and added a few crystals to the middle. I used black memento ink for my sentiment and voila.
Hope you like it, got to go now and prep 20 mothers day cards for a Rainbows group so they can make them tomorrow night.
Edit - I forgot to mention I'm going to also add this card to
Wishcraft - Waste Not Wednesdays and its the first time I've used the template and ages since I've used the Pink Petticoat CD.
Bye for now.

What an inventive idea, never tried using a stencil mask in a printer before.....knowing my luck the printer would get jammed!!! Love the soft pink and glittery outline, so glad you persevered :0)
