Hi everyone, hope you are having a good weekend.
I can't believe I've got my Less is More card made on the same day as the challenge was posted (that's rare for me as it takes me a few days to get thinking). Anyway after a slight panic over the one layer themed card of last week, I've actually gone and made another one layer card. I was so thrilled with my little technique I've decided to do something along the same lines - but different!!
And, brace yourselves, here is briefly how I made it...
I found the template I wanted to use. I drew round the small triangle 5 times.
I cut them out and used them as a template to place them onto my card.
I then used 5 separate sheets of A4 paper and traced the triangles through it, remembering to place the sheets at the same position each time.
I cut out each triangle and spray fixed a sheet to the front of my card. I used different Pink Petticoat design, picking a different design for each sheet. I'm really pleased with how it has turned out. No printer jams or crinkled paper, the only slight downside is the use of printed ink on the A4 mask, but I can always punch out some flowers.
Hope you like it.

what a gorgeous card and what a lot of work you put into getting what you wanted - certainly paid off
ReplyDeleteLovely card ,love your step by step pictures! x
ReplyDeleteFabulous card
ReplyDeleteIf I only want a small amount of the printed design, I just select a smaller area, say the 9x13, it will show you where it will print on the paper, so you can then use that little area. Les ink!
Thank you very much
